What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Operator III - 2nd Shift position at Amneal?
Job Summary
The Packaging Operator III is responsible for safely operating the packaging equipment to package in process products in accordance with packaging orders, while following SOPs and Maintaining 100% cGMP & compliance during operations.
Essential Functions
- Ensure Product/ Outserts/Label is as per product specification in the batch record. Check proper setting and operation of all the packaging equipment.
- Ensure the bottled product count is as per batch record.
- Printing of the proper shipper case label for packaged product.
- Check bulk and packaging components before start and entry in the packaging room.
- Follow up on Amneal Packaging CAPA and challenge test verification.
- Perform in-process checks during packaging operation. Responsible for proper data entry in all packaging use log book.
- Monitors equipment performance
- Checks the entries of log book usage after each batch. Perform batch record completion 100 % accurate, online and provides to Q.A. on time.
- Identifies status label of packaging components and room during process.
Additional Responsibilities
- Performs other functions as required or assigned.
- Complies with all company policies and standards.
Education
- High School or GED in HS Curriculum/ GED - Preferred
Work Experience
- 5 years or more with HS/GED - Experience in Pharmaceuticals Packaging - Required
- 6 years or more with less than HS/GED - proven related experience in Pharmaceuticals Packaging. - Required
Skills and Abilities
- Required to read, write, and communicate in English. - Intermediate
- High school level math and mechanical skills. - Intermediate
- Flexible to work extended hours and weekends when required. - Intermediate
- Ability to work as part of a team. - Intermediate
- Attention to detail and accuracy. - Intermediate
Specialized Knowledge
- Knowledge of safety, cGMP and SOP
- Excellent Knowledge of Optel Vision System, Label Vision System, Track & Trace System.
