The Position

• An Interim Revenue Cycle/Business Office Director is needed to provide hands-on revenue cycle leadership for a healthcare organization with a multi-site clinic network and diverse ancillary and specialty services, focusing on improving billing performance, strengthening processes, and supporting day-to-day operations.
• The Interim Director will assess current revenue cycle workflows and performance, identifying opportunities to improve clean claim rates, reduce denials, accelerate accounts receivable conversion, and strengthen cash flow.
• Develop and implement a systematic approach to resolving a significant denial backlog, improving claim submission accuracy, and optimizing reimbursement across commercial payers, Medicare, and Medicare Advantage.
• This leader will support month-end close activities and collaborate with internal finance leadership and external partners on cost reporting, budgeting, and routine accounting needs while identifying opportunities to streamline operations.
• Must bring a strong revenue cycle background and a practical, improvement-oriented leadership style, ideally with TruBridge experience, demonstrated success developing and training teams, and the ability to implement sustainable solutions that improve financial performance.
• This is a rural CAH practice setting.
• Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
