The Position

• The Interim Nurse Manager, Stepdown Unit, will be responsible for the day-to-day operations throughout the 24-bed Stepdown/Intermediate Care Unit.
• The Interim Nurse Manager will lead approximately 33 FTEs and will focus on ongoing departmental initiatives including delivery style, team culture, consistency, quality, and patient safety.
• This leader will strive to foster and maintain a positive work environment including collaboration, communication, and staff accountability.
• Seeking an experienced med/surg leader who will be approachable but firm delivery method and who will bring forth extensive staffing experience.
• Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
  
  
  

Requirements

• BSN is required; master’s degree is preferred.
• Active VA and/or compact RN license is required.
• BLS certification through American Red Cross is required.
  
  
  

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
