The Opportunity
ADP, a global fortune 250 global leader in human capital management solutions, seeks a Medical Director to provide clinical, strategic and operational leadership to the organization’s multi-site primary care medical practices with employee clinic locations across the United States. Based at ADP’s Roseland, New Jersey headquarters, this leader will guide a well-established, well-resourced clinical organization that offers high quality, no cost healthcare to the 63,000 employees, while advancing innovation, access, and service excellence for a modern, hybrid workforce.
The Medical Director oversees more than 30 clinicians across 13 physical clinic locations nationally and a growing virtual care platform, ensuring clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and consistent operations. This leader provides director oversight to a team of physician managers, updates policies and procedures, oversees audits, responds to patient concerns, and strengthens telemedicine and care delivery models. The Medical Director also acts as ADP’s internal consultant on public health matters, collaborating with HR and Global Security on issues affecting workforce health and supporting international clinic operations in the Philippines and Brazil.

Salary
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of a bonus, equity, or commissions. The organization offers the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Matched Retirement Savings, Wellness Program, Short-and Long-Term Disability, Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Paid Volunteer Time Off, and more. Total compensation for this role is USD $475,000-$575,000.

The Ideal Candidate
- MD or DO with an active medical license required.
- Board certification in internal medicine, family medicine, or other primary care specialty.
- Engage in patient care approximately 10% to 20% of the time.
- Successful experience in clinical leadership and growth of primary care services.
- Proven experience in clinical practice and administrative leadership.
- Strong understanding of medical liability and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with empathy, compassion, and outstanding bedside manner.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on patient care.
- Passion for innovation and patient-centered care.
