Interim Nurse Manager, Care Management Needed in Portland, OR!

The Position

• An Interim Nurse Manager, Care Management is needed to lead and oversee the clinical care management programs at a hospital in Portland, OR.
• Reporting to the Director of Care Management, this leader will oversee a team of approximately 50 FTEs.
• Key responsibilities include providing leadership and operational oversight of the Care Management Department, with a focus on quality and safety, financial stewardship, service excellence, team development, and strategic growth across inpatient and outpatient care management programs.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience in operational leadership of care management models, strategic planning, interprofessional collaboration across the continuum, and the ability to drive quality, safety, and financial outcomes. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
• Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Active Oregon RN license required, but it can be expedited
• Previous leadership experience in care management, case management, or clinical operations; experience in an academic medical center preferred.

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $165,000 to $175,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
