The Position

• An Interim Emergency Room (ER) Manager is needed to provide operational leadership and oversight throughout the Emergency Department.
• The Interim ER Manager will oversee approximately 40 FTEs and will focus on ongoing initiatives including team member engagement, efficiency, patient experience, and decreasing Left Without Being Seen (LWBS) percentages.
• Key responsibilities include ensuring quality, patient experience, safety, staff accountability, and adherence to behavioral and operational standards while partnering closely with departmental leadership in a high-acuity environment.
• The ideal candidate will have strong Emergency Department leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to mentor staff, foster engagement, uphold organizational culture, and maintain operational discipline. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
• Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Active GA and/or compact RN license is required.
  
  
  

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $150,000 to $160,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
