A Florida medical center is seeking their next Interim ED Director!

The Position

• An Interim ED Director is needed to lead and stabilize operations throughout the 35 bed Emergency Department.
• This position will be overseen by approximately 68 FTEs.
• Key responsibilities include guiding clinical operations, improving patient satisfaction, overseeing throughput, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and coaching leadership staff.
• The ideal candidate will have hands on emergency department leadership experience, strong change-management skills, and a proven track record of improving quality metrics and team engagement.
• Must be highly organized, patient focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
• Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
  
  
  

Requirements

• BSN is required; master’s degree is strongly preferred.
• Active RN license is required.
  
  
  

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
