Interim Director of Quality Needed in Aberdeen, Washington!
The Position
- An Interim Director of Quality is needed to provide day-to-day leadership for quality, performance improvement, and compliance functions while strengthening organizational quality initiatives.
- Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, this leader will oversee a team of four FTEs.
- Key responsibilities include leading the daily operations of the Quality department, ensuring compliance with corrective action plans resulting from a recent state survey, supporting ongoing regulatory readiness, mentoring team members, overseeing quality and compliance activities, and helping optimize processes following a recent Meditech Expanse EHR implementation.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive quality leadership experience within healthcare organizations, strong regulatory and accreditation knowledge, and a collaborative leadership style. Experience managing corrective action plans, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance programs is highly preferred. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
- Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Current RN license required.
- Director-level healthcare quality leadership experience required, with expertise in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and performance improvement initiatives.

- Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 annually.
- The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
