Sr. Engineer, Business Solutions Group

Position Summary:

Amkor Technology is hiring a Sr. Engineer for the Business Solution Group based at the corporate headquarters in Tempe, AZ. This role supports analytics, process improvements, and strategic focus for company initiatives. Will identify and drive recommendations to grow revenue, profitability as well as improve internal process efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Actively engage in identifying opportunities for revenue recovery and develop strategies to appropriately address them
• Build upon the available resources to develop a structured approach to project execution to improve operational efficiency
• Collaborate in the assessment of new business opportunities alongside the business owner
• Enforces process adherence and data maintenance expectations, including proper administrative controls
• Develop relationships with Factory, Sales and Business Units to ensure alignment with industry and customer trends

Required Qualifications:

• BS degree in Engineering or Engineering Management; Industrial Engineering preferred, with emphasis in Data Analytics
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in executing projects across organizations, highly organized with a keen attention to detail
• Data and results driven, with exposure to analytical tools and approaches, such as Six Sigma, JMP, Tableau, and/or Power BI
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative setting to drive adoption
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and cost structures, including ability to understand product cost modeling
• Good communication, including cross-functional and cross-culturally
• Knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint)
• Adaptable and fast learner
• Must be flexible to travel up to 5% of the time domestically and/or internationally

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant experience and/or familiarity with semiconductor packaging; alternatively technical or business exposure in manufacturing
• Familiarity with an ERP system (SAP preferred)

Location:

Tempe, AZ. This position has a hybrid schedule. Candidates must reside near the local Amkor office or be willing to relocate to be considered.
