P25 System Technician

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a P25 System Technician based in our KY, VA or IN offices. The P25 System Technician will be responsible for installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of P25 public safety communication systems. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, providing technical training to clients, and ensuring systems function reliably and efficiently for mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical communication system issues
• Experience in providing technical support and training to clients
• Proficiency in maintenance and repair of communication systems
• Knowledge and experience in performing preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability
• Familiarity with P25 systems, microwave and fiber backhaul, and dispatch center integrations
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing tasks
• Relevant certifications in communications systems and/or a technical field are a plus
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally as needed
