The Gist…

Amivero is seeking a Summer Intern to support key initiatives across our technology organization. This role offers hands-on experience in IT, with the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and gain real-world exposure. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time employment at the conclusion of the program.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in a relevant field and brings strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include supporting project execution, conducting research and analysis, and assisting with administrative tasks as needed.

Interns will participate in structured onboarding, receive mentorship, and benefit from ongoing feedback in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Communication & Collaboration

• Check emails, tickets, and messages for updates, tasks, or helpdesk requests
• Attend team stand-up meetings to discuss project progress and daily goals
• Provide updates on task progress during team check-ins or one-on-one meetings with mentors
• Communicate any completed tasks or pending issues to relevant team members
• Maintain open communication with mentors and colleagues to foster a collaborative work environment
  
  
  

Helpdesk & End-User Support

• Respond to helpdesk tickets and troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Assist with user account management, including password resets, access requests, and onboarding/offboarding support
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff with clear documentation of the problem and steps taken
  
  
  

Project & Task Management

• Review project documents and notes to prepare for upcoming tasks
• Work on individual tasks assigned by project leads or supervisors
• Participate in brainstorming sessions or team meetings to generate ideas for project enhancement
• Collaborate with team members on ongoing IT projects, offering support and assistance where needed
• Conduct research on industry trends, emerging technologies, or specific topics related to assigned projects
• Assist with documentation of IT processes, procedures, and knowledge base articles
  
  
  

Asset & Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate records of company assets, including hardware, software, and equipment
• Conduct regular audits to track inventory levels and identify discrepancies or shortages
• Coordinate with procurement and IT staff to replenish stock and ensure availability of necessary resources
• Utilize inventory management software to track movement and location of assets, facilitating efficient retrieval and allocation
  
  
  

General IT Operations

• Assist with equipment setup, configuration, and deployment for new and existing employees
• Support routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, and system checks
• Follow IT security policies and best practices in all daily activities
  
  
  

End-of-Day Wrap-Up

• Finalize any outstanding tasks and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards
• Review feedback received from supervisors or team members and incorporate suggestions for improvement
• Wrap up the day by organizing notes, updating task lists, and preparing for the next day's activities
