The Recruiting Intern will support the Talent Acquisition team in executing full-cycle recruiting activities. This role provides hands-on experience in sourcing, screening coordination, candidate management, and applicant tracking system (ATS) administration. The intern will play a key role in ensuring a seamless candidate experience while maintaining accuracy and efficiency within the recruiting process.

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or related field
- Ability to commute to Reston, VA a min of 1x per week

- Source and identify qualified candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, networking platforms, and internal databases
- Assist in building and maintaining talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Conduct preliminary candidate reviews to assess basic qualifications against job requirements
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Manage calendar invites, confirmations, and communication with all stakeholders
- Ensure timely communication and a positive candidate experience throughout the interview process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within iCIMS Applicant Tracking System
- Update candidate statuses, notes, and dispositioning in accordance with recruiting workflow standards
- Support data integrity by ensuring all candidate movements are properly documented
- Assist in dispositioning candidates at various stages of the recruitment process
- Ensure compliance with internal recruiting policies and documentation standards
- Support consistent application of hiring workflows and candidate tracking procedures
- Assist recruiters with administrative tasks and special recruiting projects
- Support reporting efforts by gathering and organizing recruiting data
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or related field
- Strong interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human capital management
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
