Key Job Responsibilities
- Learn to execute preventive maintenance activities.
- Dismantle and remove engine/generator assemblies/transmissions and other components as per the superior’s order and instruction.
- Clean the components, Repair or rebuild and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements refer to as per service manuals and supervisors’ instruction.
- Undertake other duties as assigned (e.g. repair of hydraulic systems, components, cleaning, painting, transporting the components, etc.)
- Clean the work location & tools.
- Ensuring all equipment and products meet health and safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety & environment regulations.
- Complete all other tasks assigned by the Supervisor / Manager.
- High school diploma preferred, vocational certification in a mechanical or related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in mechanical work.
- Skilled in using hand tools and precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers).
- Ability to read and follow instructions and established procedures.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physically strong and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Willing to work overtime when required.
- MTU/ZF certification or experience is an advantage.
