What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Financial Analyst position at AMISEQ?
Duties:
- Studies marketplace trends, demographics and microeconomic factors to help the company make smart investments.
- May also provide advice to companies on issuing their own bonds, splitting stock and other areas of concern.
- Fully understand how and where a company has invested its resources, as well as how secure and viable that financial outlay will be going forward.
- Needs to understand how current investments affect the company, and how those investments and future financial interactions will impact short- and long-term growth.
- Provide information on the company's current financial position and make recommendations to company decision-makers.
- Prepare detailed annual financial budget and monthly financial forecasts.
- Assist with preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly financial analysis schedules of actual vs. budget variances.
Skills:
- 5 years of FP&A experience or equivalent tenure from related positions
- 5 in corporate finance, accounting, investment banking, private equity,
- Experience partnering with accounting teams, and basic knowledge of accruals desired Knowledge of SQL, Tableau, Hyperion and other Financial tools preferred
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, operate in a cross-functional matrixed organization, and meet deadlines in a high-growth environment focused on driving business results
- Ability to quickly synthesize information, structure a concise, clear presentation of findings, and articulate recommendations to an executive audience
- Proficiency in MS Excel required; Grace under pressure with a good sense of humor and dose of humility
