Machine Operation & Equipment
- Set up and operate finishing equipment, including sandblasters, speed testers, and balancers.
- Select appropriate tooling and make adjustments in accordance with work orders and production instructions.
- Use hand and power tools to set up and control production machinery.
- Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Transfer materials, parts, or finished products to designated work areas using appropriate equipment.
- Load and unload materials or workpieces manually or with hoists.
- Perform finishing activities including grinding, cutting, trimming, scraping, shaping, and deburring components.
- Ensure finished products meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Follow work orders, machine instructions, and supervisor direction to determine specifications and operational sequence.
- Record product and processing data using designated forms or computer systems.
- Support quality checks and inspections conducted by supervisors or senior operators.

- Abrasive wheels
- Abrasive segments
- Ceramic finishing materials
- Kiln furniture components
- Ability to operate production machinery and finishing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
