Position Overview

The Lab Technician will work closely with production, quality, and R&D teams to analyze samples, record results, and support manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
- Log and track samples and maintain accurate testing records
- Conduct hardness testing, surface area analysis, particle size testing, and other material evaluations
- Prepare samples for testing and imaging using equipment such as SEM and other laboratory instruments
- Analyze results and communicate findings to production and quality teams
- Maintain laboratory equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and support instrument calibration
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized lab environment
- Assist with special testing projects and support continuous improvement initiatives
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of laboratory practices and safe chemical handling
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- 1 2 years of laboratory or quality testing experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- An ideal candidate may be a college student or an early-career professional with lab or quality experience
- Will work closely with another technician, but must also be comfortable working independently
- Regular interaction with production operators, supervisors, and R&D staff
