A leading nonprofit behavioral health organization is seeking a Clinical Program Manager to oversee a multidisciplinary team providing intensive mental health and housing support to adults with serious mental illness. What You'll Do
As Program Manager, you'll provide day-to-day leadership to clinical and case management staff, manage program operations and compliance, and maintain strong relationships with county partners and community stakeholders.
Leadership & Clinical Oversight
Supervise and support clinical and case management teams
Provide guidance on treatment planning, crisis intervention, and recovery practices
Facilitate weekly team meetings and ensure productivity goals are met
Serve as the clinical lead for on-call coverage
Program Administration
Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, service delivery, and census tracking
Manage performance evaluations, timekeeping, and team development
Partner with leadership on hiring, onboarding, and professional training
Ensure program meets contractual obligations and budget goals
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Review and co-sign clinical documentation in line with DBH and Medi-Cal standards
Maintain audit readiness and adherence to EHR compliance (Welligent)
Monitor fidelity to evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, MI, Trauma-Informed Care)
Partner with Quality Assurance for data and documentation review
Community Engagement
Act as liaison to local government, housing providers, and health partners
Represent the program at community forums, meetings, and collaborative networks
Manage external referrals and promote coordinated service delivery
Who You Are
Licensed in California as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC (in good standing)
2 years of clinical experience with adults living with severe mental illness
Prior experience supervising interdisciplinary teams or interns
Strong knowledge of DBH/Medi-Cal documentation and housing support models
Proficient in Electronic Health Records (preferably Welligent)
Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills
Valid CA driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Work Environment
Hybrid position based in San Bernardino County . Involves regular field work, in-office leadership, and flexible administrative time. Occasional exposure to challenging environments typical in outreach and housing-based care.
