What Youll Do
Youll play a critical role in delivering advanced interventional radiology services, including:
- Image-guided biopsies, drainages, and catheter placements
- Vascular interventions (angioplasty, stenting, thrombolysis)
- Embolization procedures
- Dialysis access management
- Paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biliary procedures
Beyond procedures, you will:
- Provide full-spectrum patient care (pre-, intra-, and post-procedure)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Communicate clearly with patients and providers
- Ensure timely documentation within the VA EHR system
- Participate in on-call coverage and urgent response care
- Contribute to quality improvement and clinical excellence initiatives
What You Bring
- Board Certification in Interventional Radiology (ABR)
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Current DEA registration & NPI
- Active BLS & ACLS (AHA) certifications
- Proven technical expertise in interventional procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing or sitting for extended periods
- Frequent movement (bending, reaching, pushing, pulling)
