Warehouse Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate and oversee the daily operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all daily warehouse tasks are completed on time, that the warehouse is organized and safe, and that staff members are supervised and trained.
Warehouse Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the daily operations, including shipping and receiving, inspection of inbound and outbound freight, and
- Manage warehouse staff and ensure their tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitor warehouse equipment and supplies and order new items when needed
- Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized and that safety protocols are followed
- Train and supervise warehouse staff, including new hires
- Loading equipment and material onto trucks safely and efficiently
- Must be able to lift over 75 pounds.
Warehouse Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or related field
- Experience with forklift operation and other warehouse equipment
- Class A CDL preferred but not required
- Prefer trailer spotting experience but not required
- Proven leadership experience in a warehouse setting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Job Type: Full-time
Benefits:
- Wages $23 to $26 per hour - starting wage based on experience
