Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and cleanliness standards
- Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives
- Manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours for optimal customer experience
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems while maintaining strict cash handling procedures
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling and sanitation
- Support customer service excellence by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Assist in managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability through efficient resource allocation
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision with a strong background in the food industry
- Hands-on knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments
- Experience with inventory control, food safety standards, and budgeting processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview, train, and develop staff effectively
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is highly preferred
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
