AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking a Full Time Plant Operations Technician. Under the direction of the CEO or Plant Operations Manager, performs all maintenance duties associated with the daily operation of the physical plant and assists with construction and/or remodeling projects as directed by the CEO or Plant Operations Manager. Responsible for participating in any required training programs to further his/her knowledge of physical plant operations, maintenance, and safety.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with some college or trade school.
- Must have the skills needed to perform the tasks outlined in this job description, and demonstrate the ability to learn them.
- Ability to meet physical demands of loading and unloading.
- Must be available for evening and weekend call when necessary.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Additional languages desirable
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to read, understand and demonstrate knowledge of the Hospital’s safety program and participate in any safety training exercises conducted by the Safety Committee.
- Ability to work with other people in courteous manner.
