Duties
- Lead the training and supervision of faculty, clinical instructors, and students to ensure program excellence.
- Oversee clinical placements and ensure adherence to accreditation standards, safety protocols, including aseptic techniques, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in medical imaging technology, physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation methods to integrate into curriculum content.
- Coordinate with hospital departments and external partners to facilitate hands-on training in medical imaging procedures and other diagnostic assessments.
- Monitor program outcomes through assessments and evaluations; implement improvements to enhance student success rates and technical competence.
- Ensure compliance with all accreditation bodies' standards while promoting a culture of safety, precision, and patient-centered care within educational activities.
Experience
- Proven experience as an MRI Technologist with extensive knowledge of medical imaging techniques, including MRI and related modalities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing educational or clinical programs within a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation processes essential for curriculum development.
- Prior experience in program development or educational administration preferred.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and safety protocols critical for maintaining high standards in clinical environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and engage students effectively.
