Role Description
This is a full-time/part time, on-site role for an MRI & X-Ray Technologist, located in Clifton, NJ. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI and X-ray scans, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. The technologist will prepare patients for imaging procedures, operate imaging equipment, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with the broader healthcare team to deliver comprehensive diagnostic services. Compliance with standard protocols and equipment maintenance is essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating MRI and X-ray equipment with a strong understanding of safety guidelines
- Ability to ensure patient comfort and provide clear communication during procedures
- Skills in image processing, interpretation support, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards
- Attention to detail for maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and licensure according to state requirements
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a focus on patient-centered care
- Experience in the medical imaging field is preferred
- CPR certification and understanding of medical terminology is beneficial
