Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Visual Inspector/Packer to join our Quality Assurance team in an injection molded plastics production environment. In this role, you will inspect molded plastic products and ensure they meet quality standards before packaging for distribution. No prior experience is required—comprehensive on-the-job training is provided.
This is a hands-on, active role that requires standing and moving throughout the shift. This position is best suited for individuals who are reliable, attentive, and able to follow established procedures in a manufacturing setting.
Schedule
- 2nd Shift: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM
- Monday through Friday
Responsibilities
Perform visual inspections of injection molded plastic parts for defects, including:
- Flash (excess plastic on edges)
- Short shots (incomplete fills)
- Warping or misshapen parts
- Surface defects (scratches, sink marks, blemishes)
- Discoloration or contamination
Ensure all products meet quality standards prior to packaging
Package approved products according to company and customer specifications
Follow established procedures and work instructions
Communicate quality concerns to the appropriate team members
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- No prior experience required — training provided
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify small defects
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
- Ability to listen, follow instructions, and learn standardized processes
- Basic communication and organizational skills
- Basic math skills (counting and tracking quantities)
- Basic computer use (ability to follow simple on-screen instructions)
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Hands-on, active role requiring standing, walking, and movement throughout the shift
- Not a sedentary position
- Repetitive use of hands and arms
- Ability to lift and handle materials as needed

- Commitment to maintaining consistent attendance, especially during the first 90 days
