- Schedule: **Day shift (Monday thru Friday) / must be available to serve in on-call rotation to address after-hours and weekend emergencies.
- Compensation: **Paid Weekly - hourly rate based on experience
- Assist in the installation and setup of automated machinery and control systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on automation equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues in automated systems.
- Document maintenance activities and system performance.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Proficient in 480-volt 3 phase and all control voltages applicable.
- Strong ability to make changes to control wiring and PLC programming with the ability to understand the importance of backing up files and updating electrical prints.
- Perform or assist with other maintenance duties, electrical or mechanical, as required.
- Participate in on-call rotation schedule.
- Associate degree or certification in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Intermediate understanding of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be available to serve in on-call rotation to address after-hours and weekend emergencies, with additional compensation provided.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Computer literate, Microsoft environment.
- Agility to climb, walk, twist, and bend.
- Ability to stand or sit in one place for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to safely lift a minimum of 70 pounds.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function.
