Ames Fitness Center is looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and caring individuals to become part of our Kids Gym team! If you love working with children of all ages and enjoy creating a safe, playful, and welcoming environment, we’d love to meet you.
About the Role:
Our Kids Gym team plays a key role in supporting families while providing exceptional care and supervision for their children. This position is perfect for someone who is energetic, patient, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. While child interaction and safety are always the top priority, team members also assist with light cleaning and help foster strong communication with parents and members.
We’re Looking for Someone Who Is:
- Friendly, dependable, and responsible
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working with children of all ages
- Flexible and willing to work across both North and South locations if needed
- CPR certified (or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire)
- Must be 18
Current Shift Needs:
Mornings and Evenings
2 weekend shifts per month
Kids Gym Hours:
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM & 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Fridays until 7:00 PM)
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday: 2:00 PM – 5:15 PM
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be 18
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience working with children (strongly preferred)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Quick learner who’s patient, hardworking, and able to take initiative
