Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Sparta, NJ

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 10–25 hours per week

Location: Sparta, New Jersey

Ameriwell Care is seeking a confident, responsible, patient, and kind DSP to support a bright 23-year-old nonverbal individual in Sparta, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Help the individual develop life skills and greater independence
• Accompany the individual into the community to pursue hobbies, interests, and meaningful activities
• Learn and follow the individual’s preferred communication methods
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must be confident, responsible, dependable, patient, and kind
• Willingness to learn the individual’s unique communication style (RPM/ASL)
