Ameriwell Care is looking for an energetic, dependable, and caring Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an active 24-year-old man in Toms River.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being active, getting out into the community, and making each day meaningful!
- Accompany him on community outings, activities, events, walks, and shopping trips
- Help build independence through everyday activities and life skills
- Provide transportation to activities and locations throughout the community
- Assist with diabetes-related devices and needs
- Follow established seizure protocols if needed
- Provide consistent, engaging, person-centered support
We're Looking for Someone Who Is:
✓ Extremely reliable and consistently on time — this is essential
✓ Active, energetic, patient, and engaging
✓ Comfortable providing community-based support
✓ A safe and responsible driver
✓ Knowledgeable about diabetes or willing and able to follow required protocols
✓ Comfortable following seizure safety protocols
