TLC Animal Hospital is hiring for a Veterinary Assistant/ Kennel Technician to add a part-time person to our amazing team. Located in Palm Harbor, with top-rated schools in the area and just a mile from the beach. We are a well established small animal clinic open for more than 25 years, providing state-of-the-art in-house medical diagnostics, preventive health care, surgery, and radiology. Here at TLC we have fun, are laid-back and enjoy coming to work every day.
What We Can Offer You
Not only do you enjoy working with dogs and cats but you’ll play an important role in bringing comfort to our furry patients and ensuring the smooth running of our facility. Number one priority is caring for boarding patients, other responsibilities include keeping all areas of the hospital clean, assisting the veterinarians and technicians in examinations, assisting in answering phone calls, assisting in the lab as well as surgical and dental procedures pre-op and post op.

Requirements
- 3 years experience as a Veterinary Assistant or similar position working with animals
- Excellent communication skills
- Patient and caring personality
- Ability to follow instructions properly
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (ex. lift up to 50lbs)
