What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orders Coordinator position at AmeriTex Pipe & Products?
This role coordinates with project managers, manufacturing production teams, the fittings, yard, inventory, and logistics teams to help the Company prevent delays and errors while fulfilling customer orders and expectations. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.

- Follows health and environmental safety guidelines/procedures set for this role, including but not limited to wearing proper PPE and not operating any equipment or machinery the Team Members has not been trained to operate.
- Validate customer orders for specialty items to ensure accuracy and capability can be met.
- Communicate effectively with all plant operations to ensure customer order needs are met timely and accurately.
- Order tracking by monitoring active orders through plant process to ensure any deviations or failure to meet customers’ needs are communicated and resolved timely.
- Keeps documentation of tracking and inventory with locations for customer specialty products.
- Monitoring that box inventory levels are being managed to a controllable state.
- Includes running reports and supporting inventory and supply chain needs.
- Performs other duties assigned by the members of the Management Team.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in construction or manufacturing is desired but not required.
