What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Production position at AmeriTex Pipe & Products?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:
- Follows safety guidelines and procedures set for this role.
- Always wears the proper PPE and follows the PPE Guidelines.
- Does not operate any equipment, machinery, or toll if he/she has not been trained to operate.
- Follows the production/batch plan according to the daily production plan.
- Uses heavy power manual tools, including a jack hammer.
- Sets and moves steel rings when instructed and as necessary.
- Communicates equipment failure or malfunction to the maintenance team immediately.
- Follows the manufacturing process based on the production line (pipes or boxes).
- Assists with the concrete finishing duties, when necessary, as repairing and patching concrete pipes and boxes.
- Performs other duties assigned by the Department Lead, Supervisor, Manager, or a member of the Management Team.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in construction or manufacturing desired but not required.
