This position leads and organizes project teams on discrete initiatives, utilizing project management and agile methodologies and best practices to effectively deliver on an intended outcomes and deliver value for the organization. The incumbent directs and provides oversight and reporting on projects with moderate complexity, narrow to moderately defined scope, and low to moderate business value, cost, and risk.

In addition to utilizing project management methodologies, this role is expected to contribute in a broad consultative manner leveraging competency in problem solving, structured thinking, quantitative skills, analytical skills, business acumen, professional communication, storytelling, leadership (matrixed / indirect), change management, and professional judgement.

This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Cincinnati, OH or Lincoln, NE) and partially from home.

What you do:

• Work directly with sponsors to understand project strategic alignment and defined project objectives, benefits, success criteria, assumptions, constraints, and project steering team membership.
• Coordinate cross functional teams to identify project approach, break down project work into tasks, obtain estimates for those tasks, and identify task dependencies to create the project plan and schedule. May also facilitate Agile practices including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog coordination.
• Develop project cost estimates and work with sponsor to ensure funding for the initiative is available.
• Monitor and manage project plans, schedules, costs, and resources and reports on progress and variances to plan.
• Ensure stakeholders understand change to business processes and appropriate training is provided.
• Establish and follow review/approval processes for project deliverables while identifying and actively managing project risks and issues.
• Evaluate and document to a degree to which changes would affect the project scope, cost, quality, and schedule and provides alternatives to project steering team and sponsor for approval.
• Implement approved changes, manage related work tasks, and integrate approved changes into project baseline.
• Identify causes of variances in project scope, schedules, and costs, and document lessons learned that allow for improvements in delivery and/or project management.
• Ensure MAR control documents and approvals are stored in the appropriate location for audit.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 3-5 years of relevant project management related experience required.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or other similar project management certifications are useful.
• Previous management consulting or external consulting experience desired.
• MBA or similar advanced degree desired.

The pay range posted reflects a nationwide minimum to maximum covering all potential locations where the position may be filled. The final determination on pay for any position will be based on multiple factors including role, career level, work location, skill set, and candidate level of experience to ensure pay equity within the organization. This position will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits package (see above for details). This position will be eligible to participate in our Short-Term Incentive Plan with the annual target defined by the plan.
