Payroll Specialist

Overview:

Our client, seeks an accomplished Payroll Specialist.

Notes:

• Onsite role.
• Shift: 40-hour work week. Mon – Fri, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

Description:

• Payroll Specialists perform a full range of payroll functions, working independently & efficiently to process paychecks in accordance with all applicable federal, state & local requirements, as well as related policies.
• Significant interaction with Human Resources staff, as well as Department Managers & other staff, & employees.

Qualifications:

• H.S Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in employee payroll processing and reimbursements in compliance with all applicable Federal, State & Local laws & regulations.
• Experience with Payroll Processing for multiple shifts and job types.
• PeopleSoft experience in a high-volume healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of Federal Form W-2 Reporting Requirements.
• Candidate needs to have Workday experience.
• Need someone to have end-to-end, full cycle payroll processing in an environment that does not outsource their payroll to a 3rd party.
• UKG payroll experience is a plus.
• Experience with Automated Time and Attendance Systems (API experience is a plus).
