Job Title: Combination Product Test Engineer
Location: Temecula, CA 92590
Duration: 6-Month Contract with possible extension
Pay Rate: $30/hr – $32.50hr (depending on experience)

Position Summary
The Combination Product Test Engineer is responsible for executing laboratory testing activities accurately and within project timelines, ensuring alignment with defined scopes and client requirements. This role involves sample handling, testing, data analysis, and documentation within a regulated lab environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, label, store, and ship samples; manage sample disposition and hazardous waste
- Perform product and equipment testing in accordance with established protocols, methods, and schedules
- Analyze test data using tools such as Excel, JMP, and Minitab; prepare and review technical reports
- Maintain laboratory supplies, cleanliness, and organized storage areas
- Follow SOPs and quality systems; identify, report, and support investigation of quality events (e.g., OOS, deviations)
- Assist with documentation including protocols, reports, and equipment logs under supervision
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients; escalate issues as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree with 0–2 years of relevant experience (lab services, medical device, IVD, or pharmaceutical industry)
- Previous laboratory experience (academic, internship, or professional) is required
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering or science-related degree
- Familiarity with GLP, cGMP, ISO, and ASTM standards
Additional Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Candidates must clearly list any internship or co-op lab experience on their resume
