What are the responsibilities and job description for the AmeriQual Foods - Maintenance Technician - 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Shift position at AMERIQUAL?
Maintenance Technicians are responsible for completing necessary repairs to a variety of food manufacturing equipment. Additional duties are assigned as level increases.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist on new equipment installation, working professionally with manufacturing representatives, Engineering team, and other cross functional department team members
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions utilizing inspection, operation and testing of equipment for diagnostic purposes. Provide support for root cause analysis to create corrective actions used to prevent repeat issues
- Perform equipment calibrations and preventive maintenance including, but not limited to lubrication and frequency based tasks
- Understand and adhere to all safety guidelines and GMPs including Confined Space and LOTO
- Understand when to contact technical support for assistance for equipment repair or replacement
- Update computerized maintenance system with accurate information related to work performed
- Exhibit a sense of urgency around work order completion and documentation of work performed; must be comfortable quickly escalating and communicating equipment issues to others for support
- Use CI Tools such as 5 Why for root cause analysis and problem-solving
