Job Title:  ADC Warehouse Level 1

Reports To:  ADC Warehouse Supervisor

Position Type/Expected Hours: This is a full-time, non-exempt position. 2nd Shift Position

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of the job is to receive, transport, and ship out materials, in-process goods, and finished goods accurately and safely.

Duties and Responsibilities

·   Attend training and learn to safely and effectively operate all lift trucks (standup, sit down and turret)

·   Perform basic functions of inventory control using the RF scanner gun, transactions and  

   creating inventory moves and inquiries with accuracy

·   Unload trailers while using the RF scanner gun and verifying pallets off a trailer report. Once unloaded, tend to the cleanliness of the trailer.

·   Properly load transfer trailers while using the scanner gun and working off a transfer file report.

·   Sustain 5S Quality of Storage, transaction accuracy, safety.

·   Perform recovery sorting for Grade A, Heat Treated and, Chep type pallets

·   Work at target speeds for all Level 1 requirements

Qualifications

·   High School Diploma or GED

·   One year of forklift within an industrial warehouse strongly preferred.

·   Ability to pass in-house standup lift truck certification and industrial warehouse written industrial math

   tests.

·   RF scanner and inventory transaction experience desired. 

·   Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast changing environment

·   Ability to work both independently and in a team setting

·   Must be able to work at the required pace while ensuring accuracy

·   Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team

·   Ability to follow all work instructions and safety procedures

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively with a high level of dexterity; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 50 pounds.   Must have the ability to grasp with one or both hands and extend arms up to 3 feet at, below, or above shoulder height repeatedly throughout the shift.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.   Must also have the ability to distinguish color codes on packaging materials.   Operating in standard seasonal warehouse and food processing plant temperature conditions will be required.   Retort area is very warm and humid due to the nature of the process.   Work is completed in a facility where nuts, fruits and other allergens are present.
