AmeriPro EMS is seeking a reliable and safety-focused EMS Driver to support ambulance operations and patient care activities. This role is responsible for the safe operation of emergency vehicles, assisting with patient movement, maintaining ambulance readiness, and ensuring compliance with all state EMS regulations and company policies. The EMS Driver plays a critical role in supporting field crews and ensuring high standards of professionalism, readiness, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate ambulance vehicles while responding to dispatched emergency and non-emergency calls in accordance with state laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist clinical staff with patient movement, lifting, and positioning to support safe and effective patient care.
- Perform daily inspections, cleaning, and equipment checks of the ambulance to ensure operational readiness and report deficiencies promptly.
- Maintain compliance with all required EMS Driver and EMR licenses, certifications, and mandatory training requirements.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation, including Patient Care Reports (PCRs), billing forms, exposure reports, incident reports, and unit check-offs.
- Ensure vehicles and equipment placed in service meet all applicable state EMS rules, licensing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a professional appearance, conduct, and state of readiness while on duty and when representing AmeriPro EMS.
- Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance, participate in mandatory meetings and training, and support team operations as assigned.

Due to the nature of EMS Care working conditions, employees may be exposed to inclement weather, potential hazardous conditions, psychological stressors, diseases and other illnesses. Frequent interruptions, work pressure, difficult personalities, and irregularities in work schedule are expected.
Employee is subject to continually changing deadlines while performing the duties of this job. The employee will be occasionally required to attend meetings, some of which may take place outside of regular working hours.
The employee will occasionally go for periods of time without sleep, food, or breaks as determined by call load.
