Client Relationship Manager
If you’re the person who notices everything, thinks three steps ahead, and genuinely loves making people feel taken care of, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

We’re looking for the heart of our practice. The steady, trusted professional who keeps relationships strong, details buttoned up, and clients feeling confident that they’re in good hands.
If creating calm out of complexity, building meaningful relationships, and being part of a positive, fun, high‑performing environment sounds energizing… keep reading.
About Our Practice
We are a growing, women‑owned and operated wealth management practice with multiple locations across Maine. Our team is collaborative, relationship‑driven, and deeply invested in both our clients and our culture.
Culture isn’t a buzzword for us; it’s something we are intentional about and work hard to protect. We believe people do their best work when they feel supported, trusted, and genuinely enjoy the people they work with. We celebrate wins (big and small), show up for one another, and bring humor and heart to the work we do every day.
This role is based in our Augusta office, where you’ll serve as a trusted anchor for both clients and advisors. You’ll collaborate closely with teammates across our other Maine offices, so communication, flexibility, and a team‑first mindset are essential.
As our practice grows, so do the opportunities within it. This role is designed to evolve based on your interests, strengths, and aspirations. We actively support licensing and professional development for committed and driven team members who want to build a long‑term career with us.
What You’ll Do
Client Relationship & Experience
You’re the person clients trust—not just with paperwork, but with their milestones, transitions, and everyday check‑ins. You know how to read the room, adapt your communication style, and create conversations that feel natural, warm, and (most importantly) human.
· Serve as a consistent, trusted point of contact, providing clarity, reassurance, and thoughtful follow‑through
· Create a welcoming, professional experience where clients feel known, valued, and cared for
· Adapt communication style to meet clients where they are - whether that’s quick updates, detailed explanations, or a friendly check‑in
· Look for meaningful opportunities to deepen relationships and elevate the overall client experience
Client Service & Operations
You’re the calm, capable force behind the scenes, the one who ensures everything gets handled smoothly, thoughtfully, and on time.
· Own and guide client transactions from start to finish, including money movement, account maintenance, asset transfers, and new business processing
· Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently and on time – often working against strict deadlines
· Research and resolve escalated issues with clear communication and end‑to‑end follow‑through
· Keep documentation timely, organized, accurate, and up to date
· Compliance is your middle name. You stay current on policies and procedures and ensure everything you do aligns with firm and regulatory standards
Advisor & Team Support
You’re the kind of teammate who helps keep everything moving and makes it better along the way.
· Anticipate advisor and team needs before they’re voiced
· Collaborate across offices to deliver consistent, high‑quality service
· Jump in where needed with a calm, solutions‑focused mindset
· Be someone your teammates can rely on and genuinely enjoy working with
Who You Are
· You notice the details and genuinely care about getting them right
· You stay calm, kind, and professional when things get busy
· You love untangling problems and tracking down solutions (detective energy encouraged, no loose ends left behind)
· You bring positive energy and help create a team environment that’s respectful, supportive, and fun
· You take ownership of your work and follow through, knowing your reliability makes a real difference
Experience & Qualifications
· 3–5 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, banking, or a comparable client‑facing operations role—you bring confidence, sound judgment, and a strong understanding of professional service environments
· Comfortable working within regulated environments and following established procedures while exercising good judgment
· Strong technology skills, with the ability and eagerness to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and workflows
· Communicate thoughtfully and professionally, maintaining client confidence and discretion—especially within a close‑knit, small‑town community
· A long‑term mindset and genuine interest in growing your role, deepening expertise, and building lasting relationships within a practice
What We Offer
· Generous PTO, because rest, balance, and life outside of work matter
· Optional Aflac supplemental insurance plans are available, including short‑term disability, hospital indemnity, and cancer coverage. The practice contributes toward a portion of the premium, with the remaining cost paid by the employee.
· A retirement plan with employer match to help you invest in your future
· Team events, outings, and intentional time to connect, because strong relationships make strong teams
Compensation
We believe in being transparent, fair, and thoughtful about pay, while investing in people who want to grow with us.
· Salary range: $45,000–$55,000, commensurate with experience
· Licensing support and long‑term growth opportunities for committed team members
