Amerimed EMS is searching for non-emergency medical transportation drivers in the Metro Atlanta area. Our mission is to provide transportation management solutions that deliver the highest levels of quality and satisfaction to our consumers and partners, while offering exceptional value, performance, and responsiveness to our contracting agencies.
Job Summary
Drives Non Emergency Transport (NET) vehicle.
Essential Functions
Perform assigned daily transports in safe and timely manner.
Complete all paperwork required for transportation services rendered.
Complete a daily inspection of assigned vehicle before start of the day.
Ensures the assigned vehicle is clean on the inside and outside, washes and vacuums as needed.
Assist with delivery of NET transportation as needed.
Driver must be courteous, patient, and professional at all times, as well as neat and clean in appearance.
We Are Looking for Drivers For The Following Areas: Atlanta/ Marietta
Job Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms.
Qualifications
Qualifications Required:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rule, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- All drivers must be at least 21 years of age and have a current valid GA driver license, with no suspension or revocation within the last five years, along with no more than one chargeable accident or moving violation in the last three years.
- Must submit to a post offer drug screen.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
