Experienced Lead PreK Teacher for the upcoming school year (2026-2027) who has a passion for learning and making a positive difference in the lives of children. Responsibilities include implementing an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child, in accordance with Creative Curriculum and Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS).

Reports to: Center Director

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions.
  • Observes all rules and regulations pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children.
  • Following and implementing lesson plans, doing assessments on the children, WSO and attend mandatory trainings.
  • Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence.
  • Accepts responsibility for the housekeeping duties of the classroom, common areas, and playgrounds.
  • Attends all required staff meetings, workshops, and/or school functions.
  • Maintains overall professional personal appearance.
  • Assists in other capacities that the Director, or designee, determines is necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree required.
  • Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred.
  • Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
