Position Summary
The Field Crew Technician is a hands-on production role responsible for supporting lawn, landscape, and tree service operations in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This position performs physical labor, follows established systems and procedures, and supports crew leadership to ensure jobs are completed correctly, safely, and on schedule. This role is foundational to Amerigrown’s daily operations and directly impacts job quality, customer satisfaction, safety performance, and company reputation.

Reporting Structure
The Field Crew Technician reports directly to the Operations Manager. All direction comes from authorized leadership.
This position does not have authority to:
- Make hiring decisions
- Set pricing or scope
- Modify schedules
- Commit the company to work
Core Responsibilities
Field Crew Technicians are responsible for performing assigned duties including, but not limited to, the following:
- Assist with lawn maintenance, landscaping, and tree service operations
- Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, digging, raking, trimming, and debris removal
- Support tree operations as ground crew, including rigging assistance and cleanup
- Set up and break down jobsites safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, and secure tools, equipment, and materials
- Operate tools and equipment only as trained and authorized
- Maintain cleanliness of jobsites, vehicles, and equipment
- Protect customer property, landscaping, and structures
- Follow instructions from crew leadership accurately and promptly
- Other duties, as assigned
Safety Responsibilities
Safety is a primary responsibility of this role. Any safety violations will result in immediate disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Field Crew Technicians must:
- Wear required PPE at all times
- Follow all safety procedures and jobsite rules
- Use tools and equipment only as trained
- Maintain situational awareness on active jobsites
- Immediately report hazards, injuries, or unsafe conditions
- Stop work and notify leadership if unsafe conditions exist
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Work outdoors in heat, humidity, rain, and variable weather
- Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs with assistance as needed
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach for extended periods
- Perform repetitive motions and sustained physical effort

Attendance & Reliability Standards
Reliability is a core requirement of this position.
Field Crew Technicians are expected to:
- Arrive on time and prepared for every scheduled shift
- Maintain consistent attendance
- Communicate absences or lateness according to company policy
Excessive or repeated tardiness, no-shows, or unreliable attendance will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Training & Onboarding
Field Crew Technicians receive:
- Safety orientation
- PPE training
- Equipment training (as applicable)
- SOP instruction
- On-the-job coaching
Training is documented and ongoing. A Field Crew Technician is not authorized to use any equipment without training and sign off from crew leadership.

At-Will Employment Statement
Employment with Amerigrown Tree & Lawn is at-will. Either the employee or the company may terminate employment at any time, with or without cause or notice, in accordance with applicable law.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
