Duties
- Safely clean windows of various heights and sizes on commercial buildings, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques
- Use ladders, scaffolding, or scissor lifts to access high or hard-to-reach areas efficiently and securely
- Prepare work sites by setting up safety barriers and ensuring all equipment is in good working order
- Remove dirt, grime, streaks, and other residues from glass surfaces to achieve a spotless finish
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents during height work or when operating machinery
- Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment after each job to ensure longevity and optimal performance
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate schedules and address specific cleaning needs
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial, or custodial roles with a focus on window or exterior cleaning preferred
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and practices for large-scale buildings
- Ability to operate scissor lifts or similar height-access equipment safely (certification is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions while standing, climbing, or lifting for extended periods
- Excellent safety awareness and adherence to OSHA guidelines or local safety regulations
- Prior experience with cleaning tools such as squeegees, scrubbers, and water-fed poles is advantageous
