The Bottle Filler is primarily responsible for removing empty motor fuel cylinders from the flatbed truck, filling the cylinder with liquid propane to set specifications and then loading the filled cylinder back onto the flatbed truck. The Bottle Filler performs all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations, in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures including utilizing all Personal Protective Equipment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
AmeriGas is a Drug Free Workplace. Candidates must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check. Successful applicants shall be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment, and if hired, shall be subject to substance abuse testing in accordance with AmeriGas policies. As a federal contractor that engages in safety-sensitive work, AmeriGas cannot permit employees in certain positions to use medical marijuana, even if prescribed by an authorized physician. Similarly, applicants for such positions who are actively using medical marijuana may be denied hire on that basis.
The pay for this position ranges from $18.50 to $19.50, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales depending on position.

- Must be capable of lifting and filling bottles weighing up to 80 pounds each
- Must be able to drive a manual and an automatic transmission
- Ability to complete CETP training as required by DOT regulations
- Will be required to work outside in any type of weather conditions
- High School diploma or equivalency
