Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commercial Insurance Agent based in Laredo, TX.
We are not looking for someone to just quote policies; we are looking for a risk advisor. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting, consulting, and closing commercial insurance accounts. You will leverage our extensive carrier relationships to provide tailored solutions for contractors, restaurants, landlords, and other local businesses.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Insurance Brokerage, and knowledge of various types of insurance including Casualty Insurance
- Experience in customer service and a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong sales skills with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities
- Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- State insurance license or ability to obtain one prior to start date
What You Will Do:
• Prospect and build a robust pipeline of commercial clients in the Laredo and San Antonio markets.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for businesses to identify coverage gaps.
• Present tailored insurance solutions using our diverse portfolio of independent carriers.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with our dedicated support staff to ensure seamless policy issuance and exceptional
customer service.
