Job Summary:
Americo is currently hiring for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist. This position is open to levels 1-4, and all experience levels are encouraged to apply. The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will assist with all aspects of the regulatory compliance function including complaint reviews, fraud reviews, review regulatory updates, and assist with updating procedures and reviewing documents
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Special Investigative Unit (SIU) with documentation logs, research, client mailings and filing fraud reports as needed with the various states; stay abreast of changes in fraud regulations and revise fraud handling procedures accordingly
- Assist Regulatory Compliance Team and attorneys in Legal Department as needed including litigation support, gathering Subpoena Documentation, and other tasks as appropriate.
- Assist compliance staff with logging, researching and responding to consumer and DOI complaints. Revise complaint handling procedures and update/draft letter templates accordingly
Experience and Qualifications
- Knowledge of Americo's products
- Knowledge of AWD and mainframe systems
- Knowledge of workings of life insurance companies and industry as a whole
- Ability to motivate others to accomplish objectives
- Knowledge of life insurance and annuity product fundamentals
Education Requirements:
4 year college degree
