Guest Services Representative

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Services Representative to join our team. This full-time position plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality management skills and have a passion for guest relations, making them the first point of contact for our valued customers.

Duties

• Welcome guests upon arrival and provide them with information about the hotel and its amenities.
• Manage front desk operations, including check-in and check-out processes.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions using multi-line phone systems.
• Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Provide assistance with reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while managing incoming calls from guests.
• Assist in promoting hotel services and amenities to enhance the guest experience.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests.
• Familiarity with front desk operations and guest services in a resort or hotel setting is a plus.
• Proficiency in handling night audits and managing financial transactions is advantageous.
