Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours in a hotel setting. This role requires a passion for food service, attention to detail, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for all guests.
Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Cook and present breakfast items according to established recipes and standards.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Provide excellent guest relations by greeting guests warmly and assisting with any inquiries or requests.
- Operate the POS system for tracking food orders and managing payments.
- Assist in cleaning up the breakfast area after service, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Basic cooking skills with knowledge of food handling practices.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills for guest interactions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus.
- A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding guest service.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
