Responsibilities
- Greet and check in guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
- Conduct night audits as required to ensure accurate financial reporting and guest account management.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, record keeping, and maintaining front desk supplies.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for new arrivals.
- Uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism at the front desk area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to enhance communication with diverse guests.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems effectively.
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
