Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and seamless check-in experience
- Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy, utilizing multi-line phone systems and excellent phone etiquette
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using hotel management software
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest satisfaction
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards
- Conduct night audits when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy
- Address guest concerns promptly, demonstrating strong guest relations skills to resolve issues effectively
Requirements
- Proven experience in front desk operations or customer service within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels or resorts
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is highly desirable
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a significant plus for serving diverse guests effectively
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction capabilities
- Ability to handle night audit procedures and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Familiarity with hospitality management principles and guest services best practices
