Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift
Overview
The Maintenance Technician supports equipment reliability and facility operations by performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs. This role ensures production equipment, building systems, and supporting infrastructure remain operational and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, welding, and fabrication-related issues on machinery and facility systems.
Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on production, packaging, and processing equipment.
Install, test, and troubleshoot new equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and restore equipment functionality.
Read and interpret technical documents, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders.
Document maintenance activities, labor hours, repairs, and service details accurately.
Collaborate with production teams and leadership to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement related to safety, reliability, and equipment performance.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field preferred.
Experience
- 1–2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Skills
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and fabrication principles.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
